Mecmesin Test Stands
Computer Controlled Test Stands
For the ultimate in testing reproducibility, Mecmesin offer a range of sophisticated systems featuring complete computer control of the key test parameters.
Emperor, Mecmesin’s powerful yet user-friendly control software, provides both a simple platform for routine analyses on the factory floor, as well as an advanced platform for sophisticated laboratory test routines. Programmable functions include running a test to a pre-determined force/torque, displacement, time or to break, as well as graphical interrogation of results.
Console Controlled Test Stands
The console-controlled range of MultiTest-x test frames display load, displacement and speed. Simple test programs can be created and stored.
The MultiTest-x has been designed specifically to meet the requirement for ease of routine use in QC laboratories, or production environments which are often not ideal areas for using a PC.
Motorized Test Stands
Mecmesin’s range of motorised test stands, used in conjunction with a Mecmesin digital force gauge and gripping fixtures provide entry level testing for many simple compressive and tensile tests.
The MultiTest –d features a digital speed controller that is settable in mm/min or in/min with an LCD display that allows for accurate setting of the stands test speed. With the appropriate cables, the stand can be plugged into a PC and an AFG, which allows the use of Dataplot-X to plot load against displacement.
Manual Test Stands
When fitted with a digital force gauge, a manual test stand affords a high degree of precision. It allows accurate positioning of the crosshead for tensile or compressive testing applications which require measurement of force at a specific distance.
Manual stands are also commonly used in simple pull-off tests where quick comparative checks are required and budgets are limited.

Mecmesin Torque Test Systems
Computer controlled Torque Test Stand
The Vortex-i is a twin-column torque testing machine controlled by Mecmesin`s flexible and user-friendly Emperor software. It has been carefully optimised for developing torque testing procedures and analyses involving application and release torques up to 10N.m (90lbf.in)
Motorized Torque Test Stands
The Vortex is a twin-column motorised torque testing machine. Speed is set with a rotary potentiomer controller. Either speed or total rotation is indicated on an LCD display. Torque is measured by a `smart` static torque transducer and displayed on an AFTI.
Manual Torque Test System
Mecmesin's range of manually-operated Digital Torque Testers provide a simple and cost effective method of measuring low-level torques.
Mecmesin's three portable digital torque testers- the Orbis, Tornado and CRC Tester provide a fast and flexible solution to torque assessment.
